I’m using a MS-365-Account (hotmail, outlook) and have problems from time to time with AirSync. Sometimes out of the blue it doesn’t sync calendar and contacts. This is known, but it seems so far no solution?
Another problem happens with RSS-Feeds (which has been added within the MS365-Account.
They showed up in the calendar-section of eM Client, but didn’t show any entries. I generally see no reason, why they show up as a calendar.
I deleted the RSS-Feeds in the MS-365-Account and got again an AirSync-Error: “[AirSync] Synchronization error (FolderHierarchyChanged)”.
Make sure you are using the latest eM Client version 9 or 10 via the release history page “as there was updates for AirSync issues a little while ago”.
So could be there is a later version available that might help with that AirSync problem apart from any possible RSS feed server issues.
If you do update, backup eM Client first via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. Also close eM Client before updating.
Hi @cyberzork
Due to the ongoing AirSync problems, I have always installed the latest possible version.
But to everyone who uses RSS feeds in classic Outlook with an MS-365 subscription: RSS is no longer supported in the so-called “New Outlook” or “Outlook for Windows”. This solves this problem anyway.
But I hope that AirSync will soon be able to reliably synchronize contacts, calendars and tasks of a MS-365-Account. This is my biggest concern regarding this very good mail client.
