It seems that the Google diaries “Weekdays and birthdays” are no longer synchronized and cannot be seen on EMclient.
What’s wrong?

Google Birthdays not showing in eM Client is currently “a Google issue” and no eta at this stage as per the following eM Client support page. Hopefully Google fix this soon.

On December 6th 2024 some Google accounts stopped showing Birthday calendar.
Unfortunately, the calendar is fully missing from the Calendar data we receive which is why the eM Client app cannot show it.
Birthday calendar is a special type of calendar so there is unfortunately no easy way to share it from the web interface and use it as an Internet calendar.
So far we noticed that Google accounts set to other languages (such as Czech) on the Google server are not affected as often as those set in English.
At this point, we can only wait for Google to resolve this strange error.
Other apps that use Google Calendar via CalDAV protocol (and not via Calendar API as eM Client) are seeing Birthday events inside the main calendar instead of a dedicated Birthday calendar.

For your information, the French language is also affected by this birthday problem.

The week numbers are no longer displayed…
Is this another Google calendar problem?

Yes could also be related to the same Google problem. @Olivia_Rust do you know if this is the case ?
I do have Show week number enabled in my Google Calendar online, but they don’t appear under the Google Calendar as in @Jean_Pierre_BAY eM Client screenshot above,
The week number setting should not depend on the Google settings, you can enable (and set which week is first) in Menu>Settings>Calendar>General.
Th week numbers are then shown in Month view and also in the minicalendar on the left pane.

Yes there is a display of week numbers by Em Client
But the display of the Week Number coming from the Google calendar does not work anymore in 2025 whereas it was ok in 2024.

Checking in Google Calendar online, I don’t see the Week Numbers separate option as in your screenshot in my calendar anyway. Do you see that online in your Google Calendar online ?
If you also don’t see it online, then could be Google are now “only showing it in the Month Calendar view and Mini Calendar view” which then will explain why you don’t see it anymore directly under your Gmail account in eM Client. My Google Calendars online below.
Yes, no doubt Google has changed its display method.
But between the different week numbers and the absent birthday dates, that’s a lot of unpleasant surprises for the beginning of 2025.
