Adding Outlook Alias accounts (error: "account doesn't exist")

I added my main Outlook account just fine, but when I added one of the aliases under that account, it said “this account does not exist”. I understand that the account doesn’t exist, but the email address does. I’m looking for a new email client because the Outlook Windows and Web apps are horrible at handling aliases. How can I set this up on eM Client?

Hello Lazysupper,

Is this alias set correctly on the server - for which mail server are you setting the alias? In Menu > Tools  > Accounts > your account > Alias write down the same address which is set on the server, restart eM Client and then you should be able to send through this alias.
