Adding colleagues calendars to EmClient calendars

Same problem here, I cannot add calendars of colleagues/rooms to emClient, which work on Outlook and Outlook Web, as EABonney described.

However, if I’m planning a new event and use the “Scheduling” option, I can see availability/busy statuses of the colleague’s calendar. So it seems that emClient can read out the information somehow, but it just cannot display it as a calendar, which Outlook and Outlook Web can do.
This would be a really great feature to have in emClient, too!

Is there any update on this topic?

My colleagues in the sales department have been ecstatic about this mail client, however as an IT employee that regularly has to check people’s calendars this client is almost worthless for me because of this missing feature (which is a shame, because the general quality of the client is very good).

As others here have already pointed out, eMclient does not allow you to search for calendars within the organisation (we use Exchange). Permissions are already given on the company level so that all of the calendars are open for viewing . In Outlook and other mail clients it’s no problem to retrieve these calendars, however in eMclient it doesn’t seem possible.

I am not too fond either to ask all 150 colleagues to share a url with me so I can see their availability. So having to still go back to Outlook to check the calendars basically means I just don’t use eMclient even though I would really like to.

From what I can see this topic has been going on for almost 5 years now, how come this seemingly simple feature is still not implemented? As @msh also points out, eMclient is already able to read out statuses, so I really don’t see why this critical feature is still not here.

Looks like an eMClient problem since everything else works
