I’d like to be able to move emails to a new folder, but also have them marked as read, or important or other types of categorization, status, etc…just like outlook does already. thanks.

Thank you! Yes. that is it. scrolling down using my mouse wheel jumped down enough I never could see that option. seems there are more local rules than on server rules. But thank you! Perfect. Of course it was there, right!?
