Today an eM Client update appeared. I installed it. A page came up " Have you lost your Activation Key? Fill in your email address and we will send you your activation key.
I did just that but no activation key arrived. However, this message, which I could not copy, appeared on opening eM Client - “eM Client doesn’t have a valid licence. You may access your off-line data, but online synchronization and the sending of emails are disabled. Once a license is obtained, you will be able to use the product without limitations again”.
I cannot pretend to have been aware of licenses or activation keys, but what do I have to do please to restore the service quickly?
Problem solved. For other reasons I restored a backup I had done and this seemed to kick eM C. into life. Copies of an activation key came tumbling in but I did not need them as I think the restore took me back to the earlier version of eM Client. I am now wondering if it is sensible to update the program or if the hitch was due to a combination of the server outage plus the update that is unlikely to reoccur.
Hello, not quite sure what you’re referring to, if you’re seeing any errors, please make sure to make a screenshot of the issue and submit it to us here on the forum, you can update to the latest release using this update link, 6.0.23181.0 .
However if you were unsigned after the update of your license key, please try to re-activate using your original activation key.
