Activate License From Application Ex failed

Hello i can´t activate my eM Client.

I Am running Windows 10 and use the latest version of eM Client emclient-v9.0.1708.

I have access to the license server:

I can log in and check my license.

I don’t use any external virus software just the windows defender. Turning it off did not solve the problem.

Any other ideas?

Already checked it. Its all okay its valid until 2035.

But did you install the certificate as instructed?

First i only check it’s up to date.
Then i installed as instructed in the post and rebootet.
it did not solve the problem.

Does a reinstall resolve it?

  1. Close and uninstall eM Client, making sure NOT to delete the database folder when asked. That will ensure all your data and settings are there later.
  2. If it exists, delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client folder.
  3. Download and install the latest version from here: https://www.emclient.com/dist/latest/setup.msi
  4. Restart eM Client.

I already tried to reinstall it didn’t change anything.
I felt like the problem first occur when i upgraded from version 8 of 9 but i already reinstalled version 8 from the archive and it didn’t work either.

Wow. Thank you! The certificate install is what was needed to get my license activated again. Now able to use em Client again. Great job!
