Accidentally deleted all mail in a folder, can I stop emclient from syncing that?

Hey all, so I have a macro for delete all that is very powerful.  Unfortunatly, I was clearing out a logging folder where notifications go (so I thought) and accidentally issued a delete all on my sent mail.  I killed the EMclient task and was able to recover the mail in Office365 and Gmail.  However, when I restart EMclient it still tried to continue that directive and kills mail about 100 emails a second.  Is there a way I can tell it not to do that, besides remove and reinstall?  I was thinking of turning wifi off and restarting to poke around.

ok, so it turned on airplane mode, dropped the account and now am resyncing.  It would be interesting to know if there is a way to abort something like this.
