A sendt email disappears

I am using eM client with two gmail accounts. I made a draft on my android GMail app, adding two mobile photos as attachements.

Later I completed the email using eM Client on Win 10. When I pressed Send I got a pop-up message: Will you really send this email, it is very large.

I pressed Yes and the the email disappeared completely. It is not to be found neighter in Sendt, Drafts or Deleted folder.
When I go to gmail.com, the email is nowhere there too.
Can anyone tell whats happening and how to find it? Has the recipient got it?

Probably the attachment is too large to send. There should be an error in Menu > Operations. If not in the Errors tab, in the Log tab.

You will find the message in the Local Folder Outbox and should delete it. If Local Folders are not visible below your other folders, you can enable them by selecting Menu > Settings > General > Folders > Local Folders. Click on Save & Close to save the setting.

The Local Folders are visible but all off them are empty. And since I exited eM Client and restarted it, it seems the logs have been reset. Cannot find any message relevant.
And how can two mobile photos be too big to send?
Is this behaviour a bug in eM Client?

The attachment size limit comes from the email provider’s server. It is the same regardless of what email app you use.

We give a 10MB warning by default, because that is the average size limit among providers. It is especially important because there is no point in sending a very large file if your provider supports it, but the recipient’s email server won’t let them receive it.

If you regularly need to send large files, check out eM Client’s cloud storage attachments option.

The photos was of paper-receipts. Today I got a message from my bank that money had been transferred to me. So the email had reached the other part.
It seems that the problem is located to gmail’s servers. There are a lot of google search for missing sendt mails at gmail.
So eM Client simply mirrors the failure from gmail servers.
A feature to add to eM Client would be to keep a local copy of sendt email in the Local Folders.
In the google searches mentioned above, some prefer to take backup of gmail folders, since emails seems to disappear from gmail’s servers at random. This could also be added to eM Client.

Oh OK, so not an error at all.

The server may have removed the Sent label from the message, so it may still be in the All Mail folder.

For Gmail accounts, you can create a local Rule in eM Client to make a copy to Local Folders on send. Doesn’t work with all servers, but it does with Gmail.
