A new contact created with eMClient shows up on my bell.net server but not in eMClient

If I create a new contact in eMClient, it appears very briefly on  eMClient  contact display   on the panel called by selecting contacts under my e-mail address an then dissapears forever (probably on  a synchro request from the mail server).

But it does show on the contacts display of bell.net (my server).

Everything was runnnig fine until a week ago. The installation of version 7.1  is certainly what caused the problem.

P.S. I just  realized that if I edit a contact using eMClient, it is deleted from the eMClient display !!!  . But the contents modification appears correctly on bell.net.  Same on my wife’s PC
