One feature I really appreciate in eMC is the ability to edit both the Subject line of both sent and received messages. What I don’t really appreciate, though, is that on my Mac extended keyboard pressing — intentionally or else — the Forward Delete key (not the Backspace/Delete) dumps the message in the Trash. Pressing it twice or more trashes the next messages in line before you’ve had time to understand what’s going on. But OK, now that I know it…
Yes i can replicate that too when “editing the subject” of a received or sent mail using my Mac Logi extended wifi keyboard.
Hmm, I’m wondering if this is linked to the Shortcuts. Command-Backspace (admittedly not Delete) seems to be set to delete something. You could try removing that shortcut or changing it and see if it changes the behaviour.
