9.2.1222 keeps crashing, even when just running in the background. I have the pro version and just uninstalled the program, downloaded it again from the website, but it still crashes. Is there a link to download the previous version?
You can download any older versions of eM Client via the release history page.
Note: If you install an older / prev version of eM Client you will need to also “use that version mail database” or it will not work as the database will have been upgraded to a newer version.
So “if you don’t have the older same version database backed up” in a eM Client backup.zip file, then if you have an eg: IMAP, Exchange, iCloud etc (Non POP account) and nothing stored in local folders bottom left in eM Client, then you “delete the database when asked on uninstall” and reinstall from scratch and all your email & email folders will come back automatically.
However “if you have the same older / prev version backed up” in a eM Client backup.zip file in your Documents / eM Client folder, you can then “skip the initial setup” on the reinstall and then “restore your eM Client backup” via “Menu / File / Restore”.

Generally the most common reason eM Client crashes when it’s open and running (provided there is no program installation issues), is due to “something else running in the background” on startup interfering with eM Client.
So I would suggest (as you have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling eM Client & have the latest version) before going back to an older version is to eg: try “disabling all non os background tasks” and reboot and see if that fixes the problem. If it does then enable the background tasks one at a time and reboot in-between till you find the program causing it.
