I have 2 accounts which both started as one of MSs accounts. One is *.live and the other is *.msn.
Now in EM, if I send an email to one of them, it appears in both of them!
If you send a message to account A, and it appears in the webmail interfaces for both account A and account B, what happens if you send a message to account B?
Do you have either of the accounts setup on the server, or by Rule, to forward messages automatically to the other?
If you have both accounts setup in eM Client, and that is where you are seeing the duplicate message, can you disable conversations (Menu > View > Conversations > Disable conversations) and see if the duplicate is still there.
- I send messages from a Yahoo email account on a browser. Send to either, it shows up in both.
- I have no forwarding I know of!
- Disabled conversations - no change!
Close eM Client.
Send a message from the Yahoo account using your browser.
Now open the live account using your web browser. Do you see the message?
Now open the msn account using your browser. Do you see the same message?
If the answer to both is yes, then this has nothing to do with eM Client.
No. I found that the live account had a CONTACT entry as gmail instead of live. The mirror effect quit when corrected. I’m going to do a lot more testing to see if anything else shows up. I’m not going to pay if there is any more peculiarities. I’m looking at EM because Thunderbird is having problems!
