The zoom on the android app seems wonky. It doesn’t zoom like other email clients or browsers. You can’t pinch and zoom on a specific spot and have it zoom to that spot. It just zooms to the top of each email. Is this normal, by design behavior?
No if I pinch and zoom in “part way down an email”, it zooms to that area for me and doesn’t automatically zoom to the top.
Could possibly be you are eg: zooming in too quick that then goes upwards or much further up above the zoomed area you want. So try zooming in slower and then slide your finger left and right on the zoomed in area and see if that fixes it.
Apart from that you might possibly have an outdated older version and might need updating.What Droid version are you using ?
Other email clients don’t zoom the way emclient does. The app for me, does not zoom the way any other Android apps zoom. It’s like it zooms and scrolls to the top every time, no matter what I do. I’m using a pixel 9 Pro on A15. Emclient version 10.0.3530.

You might then need to either eg: uninstall and reinstall it and try again, or wait for the next Android update “hopefully not far away”.
