yahoo alias for gmail account does not send

I have set up eM Client with my gmail account. I’ve set up a yahoo account as one of the aliases. When I try to send as my yahoo account I the following error:
The response from the remote server was:

554 5.7.9 Message not accepted for policy reasons. See https://help.yahoo.com/kb/postmaster/SLN7253.html

I have confirmed that I can send as my yahoo account through gmail’s web mail. Please advise.

Please explain why would you set a Yahoo alias for Gmail account. From the error message I see that this is not allowed on the server’s side.

Gmail is my primary account. I use Yahoo as my secondary to help filter out the junk. In Gmail’s web interface you can manage the SMTP server for individual aliases. So you can have aliases from different domains. Is this not possible in eMClient?

No, this is not possible in eM Client. However, nothing prevents you from configuring both accounts in eM Client separately.
