Every time I get a new invite from LinkedIn (someone new trying to connect) it shows the same person’s name, not the person that sent the invite (like gmail .com, apple mail, etc work). The email address is always [email protected] but the name should always show the person that sent the invite. I’m thinking this person might have been the first person that connected to me in LinkedIn - a decade+ ago.
That sounds like you have in the past “inadvertently added that persons name to the linked in invitations email address” so then all Linked in invitations always now say from that person.
So either “right click on the sender email address” in the body of the email and you can edit that contact to “remove that persons name”.
Or “go into your eM Client contacts section” and find / search for that contact name and remove that name from the email address and save it.
