Wrong category

I’m using the latest version and recently started experiencing an issue where incoming emails are constantly assigned to the wrong categories. I’ve already tried manually dragging the emails into the correct categories, as well as selecting the appropriate category through the right-click context menu. Regardless of the method I use, emails from certain senders continue to be miscategorized each time I receive them.

Does anyone have an idea what’s causing this issue and how I can permanently resolve it?

I have had that happen sometimes with eg: Gmail accounts, due to i suspect the Gmail server AI mail detection engine, possibly finds something different in the header, subject or body of the email so goes in the wrong category than i previously assigned it to. However i find, if i keep moving the email to the correct category it eventually goes there automatically.

Im currently using the latest eM Client V10.2.1712 Beta on Mac and Windows.

I have now repaired all accounts and deleted all previously registered email addresses under Menu → Mail → Category. Unfortunately, this didn’t solve the issue. Even though I re-entered the email addresses correctly and saved them in the appropriate categories, emails continue to be displayed in the wrong category.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All sorted! Turned out to be wrong IMAP and copy settings in Gmail. ChatGPT gave me the correct clues. eM Client was working just fine.
