Would Like To Downgrade to 9 from 10, to buggy!

I upgraded to 10 and regret it and I downloaded 9 but it will not let me downgrade ???

However we might be able to help with V10 to avoid downgrading, if you can post what the problems are in this thread.

My earthlink account when I receive my emails get scattered and I have to hunt them down. What I have to do to get them is go to the unread to find them and it looks like they are in Earthlink but are not there. This never happened before I went to Version 10. Jim

I got latest version of eM Client. There is a bug so not all incoming mails are shown in inbox. You have to click on all emails. Thats why I uninstalled version 10 and succeded in installing version 9 instead. That version works perfectly.

You may have the new Categories function enabled in V10.
Try turning Categories off:
Settings > Mail > Categories then untick Show categories
Then click Apply or Save & Close

The issue is resolved by installing version 9 instead! I have to wait until a new version 10 without bugs is released until I may try to upgrade to 10!

It is only 10.0.3351.0 that has the issue. The previous version 10.0.3266.0, that I had before, is OK!

You don’t have to uninstall V10 to resolve the issue where all or some of your emails are now only showing in the Unread folder.

Where its only happened from upgrading to V10, that’s just because by default “unless you change the V10 options on the inital part of the install” you will get the default new Inbox Categories where it sorts your incoming email into various Categories like Primary, Promotions, Social, Updates, Other etc like Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and others now do.

You can then adjust them to suit you, where “you might eg: choose to keep some Categories” (as alot of eM Client users do), or if you don’t want any Inbox Categories like it was in V9, then you can disable them either by "right clicking on the Category Tabs area, or in Settings, but you certainly don’t need to uninstall V10 to fix that.
