This problem suddenly began. I open eM Client, it connects but will not download any mail. I get the attached message
I can send mail. I ran a repair from eM Client’s site. I ran the diagnostic tool and both POP and STMP come back OK. The problem persists.
Hello Alan, are you using any security software on your computer that may have disabled the application’s ability to connect to your mail server? If so, can you please try to disable this software and check if the issue persists?
It seems like the connection to your mail server is being blocked or the server is not responding, however if there was a server issue, you would most likely see a different error.
What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? What mail service are you using with eM Client?
