When I enable server based rules (my system is grommunio, no server based rules to edit in emClient so I have to edit in Web interface) which moves incomming mail to specific folder this mail is not listed in the unread folder as it would be with same local rule enabled. So I miss to get notified about such mails. This behaviour makes it very complicated to maintain a system with more than one emClient installation connected to the same mailbox like notebook and workstation.
Yes as the email then “has already been read on the server” and moved by the server rule then it wont appear in the eM Client unread folder. No way around that i’m aware of.

Why are this mails marked unread in Outlook? This could not be true if the server markes them as already been read.
If I take a look on my mobile phone at the mails they are marked as unread too, so emClient is the one with wrong information.
