windows 10 upgrade - nothing from previous version loads

Just upgraded from Windows 7 to 10. Nothing loads in EMClient from my previous database. Don’t know the name of the file to search for, nor the path. Thanks for help.

Hi Delphi,
your database should be located in ‘C:\Users\your windows user account\AppData\Roaming\eM Client’ folder unless you changed its location.

Thank you, but that folder does not exist on either the root directory, nor the C:\windows.old folder which seems to have been created by the upgrade to Windows 10. I was hoping to know the precise name of the database file so that I could search my whole system for it. Many thanks.

The database is not a single file, it is more .dat files located in a folder titled ‘eM Client’

Thanks again. Darn Microsoft and their ‘hidden folders’. Changed that setting. Found the folder, then changed the ‘location’ setting in EM Client (which had gone to some TEMP folder), and all back where it should be. Thanks for your help
