Just a heads up to anyone enabling the controlled folders access feature on the latest insider preview will block dbbackup.exe by default. Manually adding this particular .exe to the whitelist and all is good.
Microsoft will roll this feature out in the fall creators update to help combat the ransomware epidemic, so it is important that software devs be aware of this.
