In order to make emClient more readable I took a stock theme and modified it using the Theme Editor - more visible ruler lines, background colors, etc. Would like to upgrade to V11, but am concerned my theme will be damaged. Should I be?
On a related note, does anyone know the name of the background color element for folders in accounts in the account panel? (See photo).
Also, thanks for including the Theme Editor. Such detail reminds of 1990s software.
I do not use the editor I prefer to edit the xml file, however, I have just checked and there is an element picker in the editor, use this to select the particular element that will display various color boxes for the element, hover the mouse cursor over individual boxes to display the code for the color you want.
As for a name I guess you could match to an online Pantone chart.
To save your Theme, go to Appearance ->Themes then with your theme selected, at bottom right select Advanced ->Save current theme as: (eg mytheme) and save somewhere suitable, perhaps create a folder “Themes” in Root of eMC on this and/or new computer or OS upgrade.
To import in Appearance ->Themes select at bottom, Import theme, navigate to saved location, select Apply, Save & Close.
Hope this helps
