My emclient application will not open. Every time I try to open it it says “an error has occurred in the application that prevents it from continuing. The application will terminate.” I was geting a similar error mesage with my firefox browser so I reinstalled it, and am thinking of doing the ame for emclient. I’ve already tried repairing the application, nothing improved. If I do reinstall emclient, will I lose all my emails? If so, is there any way to safeguard against this? Thanks!
No, uninstalling or reinstalling eM Client will not delete your emails, settings etc. But if you want to be extra sure, make a copy of your profile directory “C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\eM Client”
