will not open tells it was not closed down correctly

not closed correctly   I have run the NET framework repair and have uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times and cannot correct the problem  it still checks the data base everytime and finds

Turn off conversations in Menu > View > Conversations > Disable Conversations.

Then close eM Client and wait a minute before restarting it. See if that fixes the error.

thanks Gary but I cannot open it  it checks the data base when it is trying to open and I get the above message

OK, with eM Client closed, rename conversations.dat to something else like conversations.dat.bak. You will find it in C:\Users_username_\AppData\Roaming\eM Client\Archive. You may have to show hidden items in Explorer to do that.

Restart eM Client and see if there is any difference.
