Will eM Client sync with the Apple ICloud for contacts and calendar

With Outlook I could use ICloud to sync our contacts and calander with multiple Apple devices - Mac, IPad, Iphone. Can eM Client do the same. The ICloud control panel does not seem to recognize eM Client. It only seems to recognize Outlook.

Hello,

Do you have iCloud account/s in eM Client? Tools - Accounts, if not just add them by pressing “new account” and choosing iCloud from contacts and from calendar and it should work.

Yes I created the account; but I keep getting this error message:

Server says “[AuthenticationFailed] Authentication failed”
Please enter your username and password for [email protected]:

I know the password and user name is correct because I can easily log on through my web browser.

Hello,

can you try put into username filed your username without domain? for you it will be RayBasso only without that @me.com.

I am having the same problem!  How was this issue finally resolved?  I love the look and feel of eM Client but if I can’t sync to iCloud it isn’t going to work for me!

For those having trouble with iCloud synch, recent updates require a one-time passkey to be generated on the iCloud website to use with programs (like eM Client) that don’t use Apple’s default two-factor authentication. You can find more details about this on the iCloud website.

To be more precise: iCloud/Apple uses the term App-specific password, which can be created on the Manage your Apple account page
