Why cant we use em client on on my friends computer. he has downloaded it but cannot send or receive an email

Hi my friend I am unsure at the moment but I think he needs to install an account. I have looked at mine and I think I can help him, be back if I fail thanks

Definitely needs to have an account setup. You can do that in Menu > Tools > Accounts, then click on the + icon.
