Why can't I copy and paste?

I am using 4.0.14479.0, and I cannot copy anything from emClient and paste it somewhere else. I see where this question was asked a year ago, but I don’t see an answer.

I find it hard to believe that such basic functionality is missing. Is there some way to resolve this?

Copy and paste works fine for me. Same eM Client version, Windows 7 64-bit. You might consider re-installing eM Client.

I have the same problem, Win7 64. A re-install seems like a drastic solution.

OK, figured it out. eM Client uses IE (Internet Explorer) to display/edit messages. If your IE browser is set to high security, then functions like copy/paste are disabled. Setting IE to normal security fixes the issue.
