These two symbols are different. Wonder if someone else can comment what they mean? The one in the lower message looks “broken” like something failed
How many accounts are you checking with eM client? One or more than one? If more than one, any chance the second account is getting email from the first.
Is every message duplicated or only some?
Good eye. I didn’t notice the different symbols. And yes all emails are doubled up
And I have two accounts, but Account #2 is not behaving this way
These are account avatars, and since they are different, you probably have the same email account set up twice - so when you look into global folders, such as All Inboxes, you get the same messages shown twice.
Removing the duplicate setup from menu>Accounts should resolve this.
I do have 2 different accounts, looked into setting found nothing I could determine was causing duplicates, Did find an “Alias” set up and deleted it. Then sent this test email, and now I get two copies of the message in each of two inboxes. ??? Any ideas

You may then have previously setup online eg: automatic forwarding to your other email address and keep a copy of messages as well “in your mailbox online for one of the accounts” so then receives automatically the same thing duplicated to the second account.
So as you do have two online mailboxes, check in both account mailboxes online in forwarding.
If nothing setup online to auto forward etc to your other mailbox online, go to “Menu / View / Conversations / Disable” and see if you still see the duplicate account messages.
Thank you for your help. I deleted account #2 and waited a day to re-install it. that seems to have been the problem. No other issues yet
