cannot connect to my outlook.com acct for three days now. Connects on my phone nat a server issue.
It actually is a server issue. Microsoft is transitioning all of outlook.com to Exchange and you must set up the account as either IMAP of Exchange, depending where they are in the transition process for your account. See the following discussion string for more info:
