I imported several PST files to em client. I am able to do it successfully without any loss of data. But can I delete those PST files now? Does imported Emails are stored in em client’s file format or still em client make use of original PST files?

when you import the PST files eM Client parses the data and saves tthem to it’s own database files. eM Client does not need the PST files.
Please mind that eM Client cannot export to PST files though, if you ever need them again.
