when composing new email there is no account in from line and the pull down menu has only no account in the from line

I am new to em. I can receive email but when I compose an email the from line says no account it looks like there should be a drop down menu choice to input an account but there is nothing in the dropdown menu? thus em will not send out the new email I have composed.

Hi David, how did you setup your account in eM Client, did you use the automatic setup? If so, can you please navigate to Tools > Accounts > Your account, and check if you have an SMTP service setup for that account?

If not, what mail service vendor are you using with eM client? Can you try to setup the account manually using the recommended server settings for your account?
