The newest version 6.022344 is incredibly frustrating. Downloading messages seems to take forever, and “this operation will take some time” actually takes minutes to complete. I tried going back to earlier version but eClient will not let me install earlier version. Very frustrated, and until someone can help, I have no choice but to go back to Yahoo mail home page which was frustrating enough that I purchased eClient. These time delays may well be on yahoo’s end, but I can’t be the only one experiencing this. Help, please.
Hello Jacki, if you’re experiencing issues with the download speed or the “This operation may take a while” popup, can you please enable IMAP logging for the problematic account? Navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and enable IMAP logging for the yahoo account in the list. Save the settings and replicate the problem. If the application seems unresponsive or the operation may take a while window is displayed for too long, please download and run this utility as well: http://www.emclient.com/tools/emstackdump.exe and run the utility while the popup is active and blocks you from using the application.
Submit the logging data to us once the issue reoccurs, by using the “Send logs” button in Tools > Settings > Advanced to my work mail, [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic and include the eM Client StackDump file as well.
Also please restart the application after you finish replicating the issue to close the logging session for the application.
