Invited, and upgraded to 8 yesterday. Immediate problem with IMAP server not responding (Virgin Media). Waited a few hours, still the same problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Even bigger problem now. Nothing works, no syncing no emails being sent or received.
EM Client ditched. Shame because it was an ideal fit for me.
Poor show. How can you release a new version in this state?
An update on this for anyone experiencing IMAP problems with 8. EM Client support asked me to disable anti-virus, and it worked fine. I then just disabled Email shield and it still worked. Then started having SMTP problems. Client support said that they are working on the anti virus problem, so I will wait until then.
