I have been attempting to assist my Dad who has been a long time user of eMClient upgrade from v6 to v9.
With v9.2.2157 (5b49542) installed, we have attempted to import the data file from his previous v6.0.22344.0 client.
On the first attempt, we ran the import on all mailboxes, some successfully imported, and some did not, so I created a new Storage location and ran the import on one of the troublesome mailboxes by itself.
The import completes to 100% and the following is observed:
1: The Account has been created in the Menu → Accounts dialog
2. The Account Properties have a General, SMTP, and Diagnostics Tab (No POP Tab)
3. When you click the Refresh dropdown, and hover over the account, there is only a “Send All Messages” button.
4. There is no account created in the Left Hand Mail Pane.
5. Local Folders → Inbox is empty
6. Favorites → All Inboxes has 124648 emails in it which can be opened.
On first attempt, the other accounts that did import did show in the left hand pane, and could send AND receive. This appears to be a failure in the import mechanism and I am assuming this is the only way to get in touch with support? I hope someone is able to assist please.
