Looks like my mail server may have died. I have a full IMAP backup in the eMClient database.
Assuming that I cannot breathe life back into the mail server, is there any way I can use eMClient to push the mails back to the server if I have to reinstall it?
are you sure that you have downloaded all your messages in eM Client so they are saved locally? If not, run eM Client in offline mode (by holding Ctrl and clicking eM Client’s icon) and export all your data from eM Client to a folder. Afterwards, when you set your new account (on a new server) you can import those data back easily. If you need any further assistance, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
