I generally use recurring calendar events for planning - ongoing to do lists.
Today I wanted to consolidate a bunch of those that had become messy, into a single event that recurred every Sat.
Also I wanted to categorise them into a table, e.g. a column for health, one for work etc.
(Part of the motivation is that I struggle with a few mental health issues and I needed to work through all my stuff to make it less frustrating & difficult to figure out what was important or urgent…)
I just spent over an hour doing this and did save & close. I had also saved a couple of times as I worked (ctrl + S)
Now I can’t find that at all - the original event looks unchanged and so do any past or future occurrences. All my work is just gone somewhere, yet I was careful to save.
Please tell me there is some way I can recover that work? It would be really tough to have to try and redo it…

If you carn’t find them, I can only suggest if you have been making regular eM Client backups either automatically via the Settings or manually via the Menu, then you can restore a recent backup when you know those separate calendar events were there via “Menu / File / Restore” and then try consolidating & saving them again.
If they still don’t come back and you have a cloud online calendar, then I would contact your online calendar technical support "to see if they can restore your calendar to a previous date. Some online servers keep regular periodic backups of users data depending on who hosts yours.
Thanks. Calendar is in local folders. Give I definitely SAVEd (FYI I’ve been a programmer for many years so am anal about saving) I was hoping there’s be a way I could recover most of it, even if it somehow ended up with something like an invalid format that emC won’t display normally.
Looks like emC uses SLQ light, might there be a table somewhere so I could at least get back most of the points? I added a number of thoughts while working, can’t be sure I remember them all.
If it’s in Local Folders then if you don’t have any eM Client backups, then if you eg: have “a recent computer image” when you know the Local Folders calendar event data was there, you could then restore that.

Not that I’m aware of. However other users on this forum “who are programmers” might be able to advise on that. Sry I carn’t help on that.
