I paid to update to 9 Pro early today but have received no license activation code.

The reason is that you purchased upgrades for only some of the seats of your license. Because of that we have to manually create a new license for you. New license details have already been sent to you, so please look again in your Inbox, or maybe in the spam/Junk folder.
