update issue

I’m on version 7.2.34062.0  Msg shows new version 7.2.34711.0 avail, and asks if I want to install it. When I click yes, nothing happens.

The mailclient.exe process is not terminated correctly during installation. You need to manually kill it using Task Manager. Or use manual installation as advised by Russel.

I tried it three times, it was not a coincidence.

Installing from release history fixed it for me. However, I should note, when I clicked on Russel’s link using Internet Explorer, got a security warning that the page was different from the link. Nor was I able to download via IE. When I switched to Chrome, no problem.

IE is dying a slow painful death.  Abandon it now!

Same initial query as Neil. Also when I previously installed an eMClient update I lost the whole program. System Restore did not work, finally re installed to recover. I am running Firefox.
