Update Error - The specified account already exists

Automatic update downloads and tries to install but always fails with message
“The specified account already exists” Computer running Win 8.1
I’m currently on eMClient  6.0.20604.0  Update is  6.0.20617.0

Hi, can you please make a screenshot of the error and download this update http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.20748/setup.msi , and try to update from the downloaded installer?

Hi, this unfortunately seems to be a system issue, can you try to go to Control Panel > Install/Uninstall Programs and try to Repair eM client’s current installation, or completely remove the installation and do a clean install?

Hi again, I’ve read your comment again, sorry, so after updating from the downloaded installer you were able to update your application and you’re no longer having issues with this error?
