I am interested in switching from Outlook on my Mac, but would like to have the titles of unread messages showing up in a blue font until they are read. The contrast really helps me when looking at the inbox list of messages, and I am missing it when looking at the messages on eM Client. I did find where to make the font a little bigger, but not to change the color. Is there something I am missing?
You can change the Font “Preferred Text Colour” and “Preferred Background colour” to “Use Colour Specified” for both via “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Read” ias per the example screw below, “which should then make your Unread Text standout more”.
Also “Different Themes” can also make a difference via “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Appearance / Themes”. I personally use “Industry theme”
There is also custom “free user created themes” you can download and try which you might be suitable to make the unread font stand out.

Lastly there a “builtin Theme Editor” where you can modify any of the builtin Themes to your liking. You can access that either via “the Menu along the top”, or “at the bottom of Themes”
Thank you for your reply! I did set the color to blue, exactly as you suggest, but no blue shows up. Unread messages show as bold, black font.
If you don’t like the look, you can customize it in the theme editor (ie. change foreground color instead of background color etc). Some themes have this look by default, so If enabled in theme option is enough.
