Uninstall of version 7 hangs at preparing to uninstall. Cancelling the uninstall hangs for many minutes. How can I easily force this program to uninstall?

are you uninstalling using the MSI installation file? Or are you deleting from Windows Control panels>Programs?
Can you try the other option?
