I continually get an error message regarding my gmail. The message reads “connecting to [email protected] failed. (IMAP) An attempt to connect to [email protected] failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check the settings?:”
I have verified all of my gmail settings and can not find any errors. Any idea why I a unable to receive my gmail in the eMclient program?
Gmail’s IMAP protocol uses non-standard port. Maybe your firewall is blocking it, check your firewall to see if it blocking eM Client on port 993.
