I use Romance Fatal Serif Std. I wanted to both read and compose mail with said font. Romance Fatal Serif Std, size 12, font style medium. However, I’m only able to use bold. Clicking on the aforementioned settings - medium - renders the ‘apply’ button inoperable. Click, click, click…save. Back to BOLD. Why would this be, do you think?

I checked out the font you mention and visually it does show that Bold is being used, but since the font only has a Medium version it’s the one used when you type. It’s just incorrectly recognized as bold.
Since it’s a free user-made font I think the issue might be in the font’s coding or Window’s recognition of it.
Or is the font actually Bold when you use it?
