HI There!

I am unable to search a number from the attached excel list received in my email.

Any suggestions…?

Dont get confused, let me tell you what i want…

i want em client to search out a number from an attachment received.

This will conclude if this would be able to search in attachments as well…

As far as I know, eM Client doesn’t support searching for text in attachments. I think that’s a good thing (keeps the index file ‘small’).

I can recommend 2 alternatives for that (these are indexing programs which will enable you to look for a lot of files on your computer):

* Copernic Desktop Search

* X1
http://www.x1.com/

Copernic Desktop Search is more for the ‘home’ user, while X1 seems to be targeting more the ‘business’ user.

I’ve switched from X1 to Copernic Desktop Search.

Note: you will need to save attachments to your hard disk, otherwise these programs won’t be able to index those files.
