Unable to open links in e-mails or chat

I get an error every single time one of my users tries to open any link be it an e-mail or web link. IE is set as default browser against my wishes and .net is up to date. Any help would be great!

Hi James, what kind of error? Can you make a screenshot of the error and post it here on the forum?
What version of eM Client are you currently using?

Can you also please go to Internet Explorer > Internet Options > Security > Custom level, and check if the option “Allow programatic clipboard access” is set to enable?

Hi there Paul,

The error was about program defaults. I enabled firefox in defaults for windows and it worked also turning on the option in IE stops the other pop up that was happening before the error.
