Too many 'extras'

I have spent many happy hours trying move 5 years of emails, created in v7, to an new W11 PC using v10.

Perhaps before adding any more to emClient, it might be of help to make what’s already there work. The installation program, which should be quite simple, is a bunch of monkeys. The export in v7 and the import in V10 do not work well. These should be quite robust.

I, and I suspect many users, choose emClient because it is simple and easy to use, unlike some offerings. It would be sad if this should be lost.

You don’t normally have to export V7 emails to upgrade to V10. Should just upgrade intact.

What happened when you tried to upgrade ?

Also did you make a manual backup of V7 before you upgraded via “Menu / File / Backup”? Or have the automatic periodic backup enabled ?
