Today option on calendar menu?

I don’t see any option to add “Today” to the top calendar menu and I recall it used to be there.  Is there one?

Top right corner of the calender. In version 8 it is there by default, whereas you could add it to the menue in V7.

Well, it is rather small and can easily be overlooked.
