'this may take some time'

the report ‘this may take some time ,please be patient …’ has started appearing ,perhaps after new versions during the last year .
An example : I delete a message as normal .I select and delete another message and the report appears and stays for a long time…
There appear to have been no answers to previous similar reports

Can you try the following:

  1. Make a backup using Menu > Backup

  2. Go to Menu > Accounts and remove the email account, then add it back again.

I have deleted and reestablished one account which had pretty haywire entries compared with the current recommendations and with both POP3 and IMAP enabled,something its now impossible to do.
So I will wait and see over a period before reestablishing the other feed account.
