Hello, I get the following error with my hotmail account (it has worked for over a year. It’s a new problem): 10:04:08 PM MailExceptions.OperationException: Synchronizing folder ‘[email protected]/Inbox/’ failed due to the following error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. —> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. Anyone knows what to do?
I resolved the problem by not allowing eM Client configuring the account. I set the account to be an Exchange and then set values manually and it worked. Don’t know why automatic set up does not work. Don’t know why it started failing to start with. But I have a work-around and am up and running.
Please tell me how to do this. Thanks
Gaylotta, please try the option I gave on your other post first. If that does not help, we can find some other solution, but this thread is for something different.
